Australian HealthCare Network realises that due to the personal nature of the medical / HealthCare Profession patients often feel tentative divulging their personal information and subsequently may worry about the level of disclosure that it undergoes. Australian HealthCare Network follows the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. We also operate in accordance with the Code of Conduct of the Australian physiotherapy Association that ensures the highest levels of confidentiality.

Australian HealthCare Network collects information that it deems necessary to properly carry out the highest standard of care. The information we hold may be disclosed only to persons involved in your treatment with your consent. We aim to ensure any information we hold is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
Australian HealthCare Network staff may be involved in research on health issues however the information will not directly identify our patients. If for any reason we do require your details we must collect direct written consent.
Information may be used for quality assurance or clinical audit activities. The statistics gathered aim to improve the services we provide. Data used is made confidential wherever possible to protect your privacy.
Our physical records are stored in a secure location for staff access only.
